The goal of teaching the discipline is to master the basics of designing and building economic structures and advanced technologies for arranging bases and foundations in complex engineering and geological conditions.
The main tasks of the study of the discipline are the formation of students with a solid level of knowledge in the process of designing the most economical, technological, reliable solution of foundations, which make it possible to use the load-bearing capacity of the foundations to the maximum in difficult engineering and geological conditions.
