Information is provided on seismic activity in Ukraine. The main requirements for construction in earthquake-prone areas and the seismicity of construction sites depending on soil category are considered. General information about areas with underground workings is considered. A classification of undermined areas is provided. The peculiarities of construction in undermined areas are studied. General information about the anthropogenic impact on buildings and structures is considered.
